While there is no question fall is the right time to plant peony tubers, it is hard to resist filling garden holes with early Summer's favorite beauty. As gardeners ourselves here at RarePeonies.com, we can't help feeling that same spring planting urge. So we have provided a very limited but gorgeous array of peony plants we will ship in April-June.  Theses were lovingly had planted by us in the fall and filled with huge and healthy tubers we found in Holland.  (Officially our spring plants were grown from tubers sized 3-5 eyes, but many of them were at least twice that size!)

A double white peony with the additional bonus of being quiet fragrant.  But what makes this Netherland beauty stand out from the usual whites is the pedal arrangement, which has full sized petals that form a cup around the smaller, fluffier pedals in the middle of this bloom.   It also has a splash of red on the center stamens for a touch of consistent color (other whites like Festiva Maxima sometimes have read flockings, but sometimes the red doesn't appear).  Strong stems, dark green foliage.

Midseason, Lactiflora, Double
